My name is Phillip Howle and I am the pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in Egdefield, SC. I have a great wife Rebecca and two great boys Cason and Luke. This blog is just a way for me to write out my thoughts, communicate with others, and hopefully encourage readers. If you have any questions I can answer drop a comment and let me know.

I think this site is great. It keeps me current even when I don’t make it to church! You have a great family and you are a great asset to Antioch!

Dear Pastor Howle;
I know that I am most likely in the wrong site, but I just wanted to Thank You for being there for my Uncle Harold, (Bill King). It means a great deal that you can be with him, and comfort him in his time of need. I know in my heart that he is going to Heaven, but sometimes we all need that assurance. I Thank You for that! May our Lord continue to walk with you and bless you and your family. Thank you so much for all that you do. My husband and I will arrive in SC to be with my Uncle and Aunt Kathy on the 2nd. We hope to see you soon.

  Thank you, Cathy. Bill is a good fella and my family is blessed to know him. We see him again someday as well. Rom 14:7-9 For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. (8) If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. (9) For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.
